Daily Update

Last night I got plenty of sleep, woke up, put kids on bus, went to gym, then straight to my son's school for his yearly spelling bee that he came in 2nd last year in 1st grade. So exciting, right?! It involves 2 kids from each class from the grades 1st through 6th. Last year it came down to my son, Isaac, and a 6th grade girl who went back and forth for a little bit then he lost on the word personal. This year he said he was going for first place. I supported and believed him 100% but seriously wanted to get sick when it came down to it. He once again came head to head with a 6th grade girl and beat her and finished it off with the word, LENGTH! So exciting and he was just as proud as I was. What an accomplishment for such a young age. He set the goal though and conquered it. That is what I try to do everyday and that, my friend is inspiring.
I was going to update the rest of my day but nothing else matters when you have such a positive story to push all that other stuff away for now.

Life

Everyday life brings us so many struggles, excitements, wonders... But, what seems to hold it all together is how we can deal with these things as a whole so we may remain in peace as a people.

Let's take conversations as an example. They can lead to so much, whether you let it be a positive or negative outcome, it's really all up to you as an individual and how you want things to turn out and if you really care for that matter.

If you have an open mind you can definitely learn from each conversation you have, especially with close friends and family. (People who you value),but only if you know they value you. That's when true self growth can take place. When you are able to step outside of yourself and your feelings and understand what is really being presented to you. I feel that it is a gift to be able to do such a thing throughout your life and has been a very helpful tool for me. I love to learn new things, especially when it has to do with me growing and improving as a person so I may  help my children grow and have a little advantage when it comes to digging deep. It can also be a painful process but in order to get to where you truly need to be you need to dig deep and release.

We are... how we handle life's obstacles and how we learn from them. Period. We must take ownership for who we are and what we do and hopefully it is in selflessness that we do these things and then we may reap the benefits and get to laugh at the past turmoil.

Snow Day

So, as most of the United States knows, we had a snow day in quite a few areas. I read on social media that my  friends had a lot of boredom which blows my mind when I have put out there what I do with my spare time and that it is actually a blast if you spend time online at all. I can work at my own pace and take breaks when I want. My results depend on me and that can be good and bad, depending on what you accomplish that day. And when you have a snow day with the family you must arrange your time productively yet leisurely as well. Tricky but well done by myself, I must say. 
It's funny how everyday I look for others who I can help with finding their inner voice to result in their success so we may travel down the same path together yet many of the people I am close to say this is not for them and that is fine but also amazing at the same time. 
I am grateful that I have my vision and know that I control my destiny and Carbon Copy Pro is it.
