Starting in 2012 Maine will pass a law that all Residential apartment buildings will need to be tested for radon. Maine has a big problem with radon and I have decided to take radon measurement classes so that I can test for it.
There are not enough testers out there and many are charging way too much to do this service.
My husband and I will be starting this business together. We have already started learning about it. It definitely is interesting and I am excited to pursue this business together.
We are also applying to do PaRR inspections which is when you get called to different disaster locations to help inspect homes so the people that have lost so much can receive help and assistance. We are also educating ourselves on that as well. It would be great to be involved in such a great program.
