The 3 Things To Do First When Becoming An Entrepreneur

1) Write Down Your Goals And Dreams
This may be the most important because if you do not have a deep motivation that you can meditate on daily then it is very easy to lose your focus when times get tough.
I know of this first hand, since I have started many ideas throughout my life and have stopped them just as fast due to loss of motivation. Many are guilty of this and that is why only 3% of the population can be entrepreneurs on a full time basis.
You must, though write down your goals and dreams instead of just randomly think of them here and there. That is how you forget or push them back into the unknown again. WRITE THEM DOWN and post them where you can see them every single day. Get creative and post pictures that reflect those dreams and goals. Get the picture? Stay motivated. Only you can change your circumstances.

2) Get Organized
This may not register with some of you but it IS crucial. You cannot work in clutter.
When you work from home you need to make a schedule, by schedule I mean a DAILY schedule so you stay on track and focused. This includes workout time, shower time, errands etc.... Nothing is too unimportant to make a daily schedule for. That is how many go off track; when the night before you are going over in your mind all of the things you want to accomplish the next day, ( in your head without writing it down) then wake up the next day to have your foggy brain take over and forget most of the things that were so important the night before. You just might have missed the most important task on your 'To Do List', but how would you know? You didn't write it down.
Along with the schedules you must also organize your surroundings. Organize your office, your home, your extra curricular activities, your computer, automate your bills etc...
Things must be in order as if you were driving that 45 minute commute and stepping into the office of complete organization, except you are the boss, of you. Just don't take that for granted. Use it towards your advantage, yet in an organized and focused atmosphere. Write down at the end of your schedule what you get to look forward to at the end of the day. Everyone deserves a reward. This way you end with a positive outlook on your own business. What a great foundation to build on.

3) Surround Yourself With The Right People
Don't take this on the wrong way. It can mean many things to different people. It may be hard for some but if your are serious about building your own business then this is a huge factor in it. The people you surround yourself with can are very influential and it is up to you if you want that to be positive or negative.
It's time to take a long, hard look at who you surround yourself with on a daily basis and where your success is at this moment and where you would like it to be in the near future.
Are you able to talk to your friends and colleagues about what your dreams and goals really are, and what you're doing as an entrepreneur on a daily basis? Do they think you are crazy? Do they not ask questions after awhile? Do they change the subject? Do they really even care because it is just too outside the box for them? Keep that in mind. After awhile you will see it dragging you down because don't you believe in and support your friends and family so why don't they do the same for you?
If you were to take your 10 closest friends' income, statistically, that is where your income will likely stay as well. There is nothing wrong with having a variety of different friends, but your daily routines WILL predict your future. The only way this begins is to have the strength of a successful support system and being around people that believe what you believe.
I always thought I was strong enough to be ' Miss Independent ' without a support system since I had always been without one anyways. Well, I was wrong. I used to hate being wrong, but I now realize, that's how you learn from others. There is no better way to learn and grow then through other successful, positive people. I am so happy to have found my own community with Pro Elite.

Those are my first three steps to do as you become an entrepreneur and of course there are more but baby steps for now. This is a great start to YOUR success and if I can help you just let me know.
